What Is the KIBC Bridge to Master’s Program

Prospective students upon submittal of 10-page life-experience paper will undergo a review by the college admission board and within 1-2 will be notified of their approval, denial, or changes that need to be made. Submission of life-experience paper does not constitute automatic approval.

The KIBC Bridge to Master's Program ™ (BMP) was specifically designed for pastors, ministry personnel, leaders, marketplace and community influencers who do not possess a bachelor's degree, but have obtained life and work experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree, to have the opportunity to enroll in and complete a master's program at an accredited college.

At KIBC we understand the additional positive impact that one could have in their sphere of influence if they were able to continue their education, and the BMP is delighted to be able to provide a gateway to shape the future of generations to come.

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS

To gain entrance into the BMP, prospective students must do the following:

  • Complete a 10-page paper detailing their ministry or marketplace experience.

  • Prospective student will enroll in 3 introductory masters classes to familiarize the student with the rigor of the masters program.

  • Introductory classes do not count towards completion of masters degree

    INTRODUCTORY MASTER'S CLASSES

    Introduction to Graduate Studies in Ministry and Theology

    This course is designed to prepare students for the graduate learning experience at Kingdom Impact Bible College. Students have opportunities to develop and strengthen the skills necessary to succeed as graduate students. Emphasis is placed on utilizing the tools for graduate success. (4 weeks)

    Introduction to Biblical Studies.

    This course is an introduction to the historical, literary, and theological aspects of the Bible. We will survey the central characters and events of biblical history, examine the variety of genres found in the Bible, and discuss key theological themes emphasized within the Bible. Students will be introduced to methods of biblical criticism and interpretation that integrate skills developed in other disciplines. The entire Bible – both Old and New Testaments – will be covered.(4 weeks)

    Ministerial Ethics

    This course examines the biblical and theological foundations of Christian ethics along with an analysis of the roles and responsibilities of gospel ministry. Significant attention is given to self-care, personal morality, and character formation as well as ethical concerns unique to ministers as they lead, equip, shepherd, and intercede for God’s people. (4 weeks)

    AVAILABLE MASTERS DEGREES

    Upon completing BMP students may enroll in masters degree of their choice.
